
Ever see an item you want, but wonder if you can find it cheaper elsewhere? Comparison shopping sites bring the prices to you, potentially saving you time and buyer's remorse.
But beware. Sites boasting the lowest price might cause sticker shock once shipping and service fees are tacked on. Here are a few places to browse for bargains:
- DealTime
Dealtime also takes the category approach, which is great for browsing, but not as helpful for searches by brand name. The search for a refrigerator was much easier here. In addition to price, you can search by product, merchant or product rating. The site also claims to crawl auctions, group buying sites, person-to-person auctions and classifieds, but my search for a low-end fridge didn't yield any listings.
