Top 10 Consumer Complaints
Fifty consumer agencies are polled each year to determine the top 10
consumer concerns, and auto sales, auto repair and home improvement
have topped the list every year since 1994, according to the National
Association of Consumer Agency Administrations (NACAA) and the
Consumer Federation of America (CFA). The top 10 areas for consumer
complaints are:
- Auto sales
- Auto repair
- Home improvement
- Household goods
- Credit and lending
- Mail order
- Auto leasing
- Landlord/tenant
- Utilities
- Travel/tourism
